1. Order & Tracking FAQ
1a. Q: How can I check my order status? A: If you already have a GHC account, log in and click on "My Orders" to view your order details and status. Once your order is packed and ready to ship, a tracking number will be sent to your email so you can follow its progress. |
1b. Q: What if I chose Standard Untracked Shipping?
A: Orders shipped with Standard Untracked do not come with tracking and usually take 7–12 business days to arrive. |
1c. Q: I didn’t create an account can I still check my order?
A: Yes! You can create an account using the same email address you used at checkout. Your order will automatically appear under "My Orders". |
1d. Q: When will I get my tracking number?
A: Tracking numbers are emailed as soon as your order is packed. Once the courier scans the package into their system, tracking will update with shipping info. Orders packed over the weekend are updated on the next business day.

2. Returns & Exchanges
2a. Do you accept returns or exchanges?
We do not offer exchanges for online scrunchie and candle orders at this time. However, if there's an issue with your item, we’re happy to help. |

3. Order Number & Tracking Info
3a. Where can I find my order number?
If you have a GHC account, log in and click on "My Orders" under your profile. Your order number and details will be listed there.
No account yet? You can create one anytime using the same email address used at checkout, your order will link automatically.
We also send an order confirmation email shortly after purchase, which includes your order number. If you don’t see it, be sure to check your spam or junk folder. |
3b. When will I get tracking information?
Once your order is packed and ready to go, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number (if applicable).
Please note: Orders shipped with Standard Untracked Shipping do not include tracking and typically arrive within 7–12 business days.

3c. Weekend Orders:
If your order is packed over the weekend, tracking will update the next business day once scanned by the courier. |
4. Can I cancel my order?
4a. We get it sometimes things change! While we do our best to process and ship orders quickly, that means we might not be able to cancel once your order is already in motion. If your order hasn’t been fulfilled yet, we’re happy to issue a full refund. Just email us at support101@giftedhandscreation.store with your order number, and we’ll take care of it. Orders that have already been packed or shipped unfortunately can’t be refunded. |
5. What if I refuse my delivery?
5a. If you refuse your package (whether due to duties, taxes, or a change of heart), you’ll be responsible for the return shipping cost back to Gifted Hands Creation INC. This fee varies depending on your country. Need to make a change to your shipping address?

7. How to Place an Order
7a. Shopping with us is easy! Just browse through our collection and click “Add to Cart” on the items you’d like. When you’re ready to complete your purchase, head over to your cart and click “Checkout.” From there, simply enter your shipping details and choose your preferred payment method. Once your order is placed, we’ll get it packaged and on its way within 3–5 business days. Need help at any point? 2. How is my order shipped?
Gifted Hands Creation Inc. ships all orders via Canada Post. Standard shipping is sent through letter mail, which typically takes 7-12 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). Faster Expedited and Priority shipping options are available at checkout.
International Orders:
We currently ship worldwide. International delivery times vary and may be longer depending on customs processing in your country.

3. Do you ship only in Canada or worldwide?

4. Do I have to pay duties or taxes on my order?
Canada
Yes. Taxes are applied at checkout based on your shipping address (GST/HST and, where applicable, PST). Orders may also be subject to import charges depending on location.
United States
Duties are already included in your total at checkout. State sales tax will be calculated based on your shipping address.
United Kingdom
We collect 20% VAT at checkout. Orders over £135 may be subject to additional customs duties when they arrive. You may be contacted to pay these before delivery.
Other International Destinations
You may be responsible for local duties, VAT, and customs fees once your order reaches your country. These charges vary and are set by your local customs office unfortunately, we can’t estimate or cover them. Gifted Hands Creation Inc. is not responsible for any duties, taxes, or customs fees incurred upon delivery. We are also unable to reimburse these fees.
Do you charge foreign transaction fees?
No, we only charge the order total in Canadian Dollars (CAD). However, your bank may charge a small foreign transaction fee this is outside of our control.

All About Scrunchie Care:
1. WHY DOES MY SCRUNCHIE LOOKS DIFFERENT FROM THE PICTURE
At GHC we do our best to ensure our photos accurately reflect each scrunchie’s color. However, colors may appear slightly different depending on lighting and screen settings. |
2. The scrunchie I wanted is sold out! When will it be restocked?
Restock times can vary!
Since we source our fabrics locally and often in limited quantities some materials may take time to return or may not be available again. In some cases, we’ve purchased the last of a particular fabric, which means restocks aren’t always guaranteed.
To stay in the loop, just sign up for restock notifications directly on the product page of any sold-out item. You’ll be the first to know if and when it returns! |
3. How do I wash my scrunchies?

4. How many times will a GHC scrunchie wrap around my hair?
Depending on your hair thickness, GHC scrunchies typically wrap around 2–3 times comfortably. |

2. How long does one candle last?
The burn time of your candle depends on the type of wax inside. At Gifted Hands Creation, we use coconut soy, pure soy, and beeswax, each with its own unique burn qualities. Understanding these differences helps you get the most from every candle glow.
Proper candle care also helps maximize burn time and fragrance. |
3. Is your fragrance locally sourced?
At Gifted Hands Creation, we’re committed to supporting local businesses. Whenever possible, we source our raw materials locally, though occasionally we work with trusted suppliers from outside the area. Our candles achieve their rich scents using either essential oils or phthalate-free fragrance oils, and soon, with an exciting new innovation, we’ll be combining both for an even better experience. |
4. Do candles have an expiry date?
It's best to burn candles within a year of purchase. We know it's tempting to hold on to your favorites, but over time they can lose their scent and may not burn as well. |
5. When Should I Trim My Wick?

6. How Can I Prevent Tunneling?
The easiest way to prevent tunneling is to let your candle burn long enough for the melted wax to reach nearly the edge of the container, usually about 2 to 3 hours on the first burn.
With Gifted Hands Creation candles, if you notice about a ¼ inch of wax left around the edges during the first couple of burns, don’t worry; it typically self-corrects after a few more uses. Our vessels are designed to help promote an even melt! |
7. Why is there black smoke coming from my candle?
Black smoke also known as "sooting" usually means the wick is too long or the candle is burning in a drafty area.
To prevent this, keep your candle away from open windows, fans, or vents, and trim the wick to 2–3 mm before each burn. This helps your candle burn cleanly and evenly.
We recommend using a wick trimmer or even nail clippers for a quick fix! |
8. Why is the flame on my candle so big?
If your candle flame looks more like a mini bonfire, it’s a sign the wick is too long. Blow it out and trim the wick to 2–3 mm using a wick trimmer or nail clippers. A properly trimmed wick will give you a calmer flame, a cleaner burn, and help prevent sooting.

10. My Candle Arrived and It’s Freezing! Can I Burn It Right Away?
We know you’re excited to light it up but patience is key! If your candle feels cold (like after being outside or in transit during winter), let it sit at room temperature for at least 24 hours before burning. A fully acclimated candle ensures a smoother, more even burn and helps prevent tunneling. |
